Setting: an eye doctor’s office.
Eye Doctor: Your new contacts look fine (said after spending about 30 seconds looking at my eyes with some sort of high tech lense.)
Me: Great. (I go to the front desk to check out.)
Lady at Front Desk: Your copay is $10 and your contact lense fitting is $75.
Me: What?! What?! What?! (think Stan’s mom from South Park). But he only looked at my contacts for 30 seconds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Moral of the story: become an eye doctor, because apparently they make $75 per 30 seconds.
